2013 was the driest year since 1985, which was one of the best years for Pinot Noir here at Sokol Blosser. Harvest started on September 10 and ended on October 10, making this the first time in more than a decade that we were picking grapes over a five-week period.
Our 2013 Orchard Block Pinot Noir is brimming with flavors of orange zest, bing cherry and black pepper with a cocoa powder finish.
