Our 2017 Watershed Block Pinot Noir exhibits hints of passionfruit and wet stone on the nose and savory note prune and black cherry on the palate with a tannic foundation.

Found at the highest point on our Estate, this south-facing Block finds its home in the rich, volcanic Jory soil that the Dundee Hills are famous for, and was one of the first sites planted by Bill and Susan Sokol Blosser in the 1970’s. Although replanted in 2006 and 2009, cuttings were taken from the original vines and grafted onto healthy rootstock to maintain its identity. This gently sloping vineyard block is comprised of just over 9 acres of Wädenswil 2A and Pommard USD4, two of the clones of Pinot Noir first available in Oregon in the 70’s. Today the Watershed Block produces a bold and expressive Pinot Noir, an exquisite example of the heritage vines and the unique terroir it comes from.

Serve with appetizers such as grilled feta with honey drizzle, roasted fennel bulbs, and farro cooked in broth.
