Last year, our founder, Susan Sokol Blosser, commissioned a concerto to capture the essence of the vineyard. She worked with composer David Schiff who created three movements to capture the beauty of each stage of the vineyard over the course of a year. In tandem with the performance, Susan wrote a brief essay about her perspective on each season. The violin concerto was performed live at the Sokol Blosser Estate by musicians from Chamber Music Northwest and this recording is available through a QR code in a booklet of Susan’s writings and images of the vineyard. This booklet is included with each Legacy Box purchase.
